“We turn passionate outdoor people into climate advocates, working together to protect a future with clean air, clean water and a healthy planet.
Pro snowboarder Jeremy Jones was traveling to snow-covered places around the world when he recognized that snow was melting faster, temps were spiking and places he’d counted on for deep snow were no longer reliable. Something had to be done, but he couldn’t find any organizations or resources dedicated to mobilizing the snowsports community to act on climate. The outdoor industry—which these days supports 7.6 million jobs and creates $887 billion in economic revenue a year and is directly impacted by climate change—was doing little to address the issue.
So, in 2007, Jones founded Protect Our Winters, the first climate advocacy organization in the outdoor community. POW brought together other concerned athletes, creatives and brand partners to tackle the issue head on, a network that has since grown to 77,000 Team POW members. Our mission is to depoliticize the climate discussion and bring together those from all backgrounds to advocate for the outdoor spaces we love most.
The outdoor industry has the magnitude and economic influence to make change. But we can’t do it in isolation. Our tactic for engaging the 181 million Americans who say they love the outdoors? Remind them what they have to lose. It’s not just our powder days and clean air that’s at risk; it’s our livelihoods, our environment, our economy. We don’t have a day to waste.”

Newest WCK Field Kitchen in Gaza Starts Operations
WCK’s newest Field Kitchen in Gaza, the Salam Kitchen in Deir al-Balah, is up and running. The team here prepared tens of thousands of hot meals on their first day, adding to our existing network in a major step towards our goal of 1 million meals daily for Palestinian families. “The launch of Salam is both a milestone and a symbol of hope, reminding us that every effort counts in bringing nourishment and dignity,” said Wadhah, WCK Response Director.
WCK to Scale Up to 1 Million Meals a Day in Gaza
WCK is seeking to rapidly scale up production to an unprecedented one million hot meals a day.
The ambitious plan requires an increase to five high-capacity field kitchens and enough supplies to outfit scores of smaller community kitchens at the neighborhood level throughout Gaza.
WCK will also need extended supply chain access through multiple entry points and the ability to send in more than 100 trucks daily, as well as permission to directly import fuel.

In 1933, Albert Einstein and a small group of humanitarians formed what would become the International Rescue Committee. Today, we deliver lasting impact by providing health care, helping children learn, and empowering individuals and communities to become self-reliant, always with a focus on the unique needs of women and girls. Our work spans more than 40 crisis-affected countries, and we provide resettlement, asylum, and integration services in communities across the United States and Europe, including working with refugees rebuilding their lives in the United Kingdom.
With a record number of people displaced worldwide, the need for humanitarian aid has never been more urgent. Each year, the IRC reaches millions of people impacted by crises. In 2024, this included: 1.1 million children and youth enrolled in our learning programs; 2.3 million people gained access to clean water; 688,240 children and pregnant women received nutrition support; 7,000 refugee children in the UK reached by the IRC's Healing Classrooms.

VOW for Girls champions the girls around the world without the rights, resources, and choices to decide their own futures. VOW partners with local leaders worldwide to eradicate the causes of child marriage and create opportunities for every girl to be unstoppable.
Efforts include advancing girls’ rights by providing education, job training, and vital life skills. Over 200 community-based organizations in fifteen countries currently receive grants, and 85% of those grantees are women-led organizations.
VOW is filling a funding gap in the global push to end child marriage: supporting efforts at the local level by focusing on effective, yet overlooked grassroots organizations that directly engage in the day-to-day lives of girls. We find, qualify, and fund these organizations with our sister organization and granting partner, the Girls First Fund.

Transgender Law Center is the largest national, trans-led organization working to set all people free. We champion the right of all transgender and gender non-conforming people to make their own choices and live freely, safely, and authentically. Prioritizing BIPOC, disabled, and HIV+ communities, we advance community-driven strategies that harness trans knowledge, power, and joy to ensure that we not only survive, but thrive at all ages and phases of life.
We envision a world where transgender liberation intersects with racial, economic, and social justice. In this future, every person, regardless of identity or background, has the autonomy to define and pursue their own path to happiness and fulfillment, We believe that our liberation is interconnected and that none of us are free until all of us are free.

Sudan is the world’s largest humanitarian crisis, and children are paying the highest price. Relentless attacks on hospitals, schools, water and power supplies have left children and families without access to essential services. 15.3 million children require protection and emergency assistance. Famine has been confirmed in parts of North Darfur and the Nuba Mountains. In Al Fasher, North Darfur’s capital, 130,000 children have been trapped for over 500 days in harrowing conditions. They are facing brutal violence — including sexual violence — and extreme shortages of food, water and medicine.
Some of the following types of support we have provided to children and families include:
Helping over 2.3 million people access safe drinking water through water trucking, chlorination, and restoring water infrastructure in July; Treating over 54,000 children with severe malnutrition in July alone; Helping displaced and returning families with services such as communal kitchens, serving around 88,000 people every day; Helping more than 1.3 million children receive learning support in 2025.

It all started back in 2012 when our founder, Brian Hill, had a lightbulb moment: if you want to break the cycle of incarceration, you’ve got to start with access to education. Brian saw firsthand that a lack of resources inside correctional facilities was keeping people stuck in a system that wasn’t setting them up for success. So he set out on a mission to change that. Fast forward to today, and we’re delivering real, impactful educational programming to the people who need it most, right on their tablets.
We focus on and operate exclusively in the corrections space, meaning that 100% of our curriculum and content library is tailored for justice involved Learners. Our programming covers a wide range of topics, from basic literacy, GED preparation, and college courses, to high-demand vocational training, rehabilitative focused substance abuse recovery, healing, and mental health curricula, all designed to help build skills to break the cycle of recidivism.

Planned Parenthood is the nation’s leading provider and advocate of high-quality, affordable sexual and reproductive health care for all people, as well as the nation’s largest provider of sex education. Planned Parenthood is made up of many separate non-profit organizations across the country. While these organizations are tied by a central mission — to protect access to sexual and reproductive health care and education, no matter what — they are separate entities.
Because of the Trump administration’s policies, 1.1 million patients could be blocked from using their Medicaid insurance to pay for care at Planned Parenthood health centers. This is a devastating blow to patients and providers — and we urgently need your help.
We're not done fighting this dangerous law, and Planned Parenthood health centers are doing everything they can to meet patient needs in this pivotal moment.

For three decades, the Tompkins Conservation team has been committed to working on the ground in the Southern Cone of South America to confront the twin crises facing life on Earth: climate chaos and mass extinction. From northern Argentina to southern Chile, we are preserving land and sea, restoring biodiversity, and helping communities to thrive.
For three decades, we’ve been creating parklands, protecting and restoring wildlife, promoting regenerative agriculture, and proving that national parks are economic drivers for local communities.
The results speak for themselves: nearly 15 million acres protected, rebounding wildlife populations, and growing economic opportunities in park gateway communities.
